Post Treatment

To ensure optimal cellular receptivity and minimize unnecessary inflammation, we require strict adherence to our pre-treatment protocol. Discontinue all active topical prescriptions, Retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, and aggressive at-home exfoliants for 3 to 5 days prior to your appointment. Avoid direct, prolonged UV exposure. If you are experiencing an active cold sore flare-up or have sustained a recent sunburn on your face, neck, or chest, your barrier is severely compromised and we will require you to reschedule.

This is a fully customized protocol built on a non-negotiable foundation: clinical analysis, a thorough double cleanse, and targeted masking and finishing products. From there, your esthetician will select the exact variables required for your tissue:

  • Physical Exfoliation (Choose 1): Dermaplaning or Microdermabrasion to physically remove the dead stratum corneum layer.

  • Chemical Exfoliation (Choose 1): Enzyme Therapy, Light Chemical Peel, or Medium Chemical Peel to dissolve cellular glue and accelerate turnover.

  • Advanced Modalities (Choose 2): Microcurrent (for muscle re-education), High-Frequency (antibacterial/oxygenating), Ultrasonic Scrubber, or targeted Steam & Extractions/Suction to clear deep congestion.

  • Structural Support (Available upon request): Cupping, Gua Sha, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage to reduce fluid stagnation and sculpt facial contours.

We begin with an uncompromising clinical analysis of your face, neck, and chest. Once we understand your current barrier integrity, we execute the foundational double cleanse. We then strategically layer your selected physical and chemical exfoliants, carefully monitoring your tissue’s response to the active ingredients. Next, we deploy your chosen advanced modalities—whether that means driving energy deep into the facial muscles with microcurrent or manually extracting impactions. Finally, we seal the barrier with bespoke finishing products, ensuring your skin is biologically balanced and protected before you leave the clinic.

Because this treatment utilizes active chemical exfoliants and advanced modalities, your post-care must be deliberate. You may experience mild erythema (redness) or tightness for 24 to 48 hours. Discontinue all at-home active ingredients (Retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, Vitamin C) for at least 3 days. Deep hydration and strict SPF 30+ application on your face, neck, and chest are non-negotiable. Your esthetician will provide a specific post-care timeline based on the exact peel and physical exfoliation methods chosen during your session.

The neck and décolletage are often the most neglected areas in a home skincare routine, yet they sustain some of the highest amounts of cumulative UV damage. Because the skin here is incredibly thin and lacks the healing capacity of facial skin, it shows the signs of aging, redness, and textural degradation much faster. Treating the face, neck, and chest as a single, unified canvas ensures structural consistency.

Absolutely. Because this treatment is entirely modular, we simply adapt the protocol. Instead of utilizing dermaplaning (which can spread bacteria), we will pivot to an enzyme exfoliation or a BHA chemical peel. We will then utilize our advanced modalities to focus heavily on the Ultrasonic Scrubber, Steam & Extractions, and High-Frequency to kill acne-causing bacteria and reduce active inflammation.

It depends entirely on the specific chemical exfoliant we select during your clinical analysis. If we utilize an enzyme therapy or a superficial acid, you will likely only experience microscopic flaking that resolves with adequate hydration. However, if your tissue requires a medium-depth peel to lift entrenched pigment or correct severe textural degradation, you should expect 2 to 4 days of visible cellular shedding. We will never apply an aggressive chemical formulation without explicitly discussing the biological reality of your downtime first.

 

Yes, but with mandatory clinical modifications. Pregnancy alters your systemic hormones and drastically increases skin reactivity. We will strictly omit contraindicated modalities like Microcurrent and High-Frequency, and we will bypass salicylic acid or medium-depth peels in favor of pregnancy-safe enzymes and physical exfoliation (such as dermaplaning).

 

We prioritize structural efficacy over a standard “spa” experience, which means certain variables of this protocol are highly active and stimulating. Chemical exfoliants frequently cause a temporary burning, itching, or stinging sensation while they dissolve cellular bonds. Manual extractions and High-Frequency can also be briefly uncomfortable. However, we continuously monitor your barrier’s threshold and communicate with you to ensure the process remains entirely tolerable while still driving measurable cellular change.
