HERE TO HELP

Phase 1

PREPARATION (BEFORE)

Objective: Minimize risk and prime the skin for injury.

Your specific Treatment Roadmap will dictate the exact timeline, but the following “Non-Negotiables” apply to almost all energy-based modalities:

  • Discontinue Actives (5-7 Days Prior): Stop using active skincare ingredients such as Retinols, Acids (AHAs/BHAs), and aggressive exfoliants to prevent unpredictable reactions.

  • Sun Avoidance (2 Weeks Prior): Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning products. We cannot treat skin that has been recently compromised by UV radiation.

  • Health Transparency: Identify any changes in medications or health conditions. Certain factors can render treatments inadvisable or dangerous, so full disclosure is required before we begin.

Phase 2

THE IMMEDIATE AFTERMATH (0–48 HOURS)

Objective: Protect the barrier and manage the inflammatory response.

  • Expectations: Depending on the modality (e.g., Dark Matter), you may experience mild redness and swelling. This is a sign of the biological repair process kicking in.

  • The “No” List:

    • No Intense Workouts (48 Hours): Avoid activities that induce heavy sweating or increased body heat.

    • No Direct Sun: Your skin is temporarily defenseless. Strict sun avoidance and SPF 50+ are required.

  • Support: Keep the skin moisturized according to the specific post-care products provided in your kit.

Phase 3

THE DAILY RITUAL (LONG TERM)

Objective: Evolution and Maintenance.

Your home care determines the longevity of your results. We architect this specifically for you:

  • Morning & Evening Sequences: Follow the precise application sequence outlined in your plan. There is a clear rationale for why each formulation is included.

  • Volume: Your intensive treatment phase may require a complex seven-product morning routine. As you transition to maintenance, we will simplify this (often down to four essentials) to eliminate redundancy while preserving efficacy.

Applies to: Treatment Facial and Advanced Treatment Facial (face, neck and chest)

Pre-Treatment Instructions:

1 week prior

  • Discontinue topical medications and products that may irritate, including scrubs, retinols and acne products.

24 hours prior

  • Avoid retinol and glycolic acid products.

Before your appointment

  • Avoid injectable neurotoxins such as Botox and Dysport immediately before your Treatment Facial. Injectables immediately afterward are OK.
  • No open cuts, wounds or active herpes on the face.
  • Come with clean skin or we can cleanse you. Remove any facial jewelry and wear comfortable clothing.

Post-Treatment Instructions:

Resuming your routine

  • Facials & Tempsure: you can resume everything right away — except makeup, which we recommend avoiding for 48 hours.
  • Slight redness for 1-2 hours is normal. Skin might feel tender, especially in extraction areas.
