Massage Facial in Seattle

Think of this as a deep tissue massage, but for your face. We hold tension in our jaw, brow, and neck just like we do in our shoulders, leading to puffiness, tech-neck, and a “heavy” look. This facial uses high-performance sculpting techniques, lymphatic drainage, and deep myofascial release to physically lift the muscle structure and drain stagnant fluid. It’s not just a fluffy spa rub-down; it’s a workout that leaves you looking sculpted, snatched, and instantly de-puffed.

  • Hydrate: Lymphatic drainage works best when you are well-hydrated. Drink plenty of water in the 24 hours leading up to your appointment.

  • Wait on Injectables: If you have recently had Botox or Fillers, you must wait 2 weeks before booking this facial. We cannot manipulate the tissue while neurotoxins or fillers are settling.

  • Men: Shave the morning of your appointment so we can massage the jawline without friction.

  • Come Clean: Arrive with a clean face if possible, though we will double cleanse you regardless.

  • The Sensation: Expect firm, rhythmic pressure. It feels like a mix of deep tissue therapy and a yoga flow for your face. It is incredibly relaxing but “active.”

  • The Techniques: We use knuckles, fingers, and sometimes tools (like Gua Sha or stones) to release tight fascia in the jaw and neck.

  • The Focus: We target the lymph nodes to drain fluid and the attachment points of the muscles to lift the facial contours.

  • Relaxation: Despite the deep work, most clients fall asleep during the rhythmic drainage portion.

  • Immediate Result: You will walk out looking “snatched.” Cheekbones pop, jawlines look sharper, and eyes look more open as puffiness disappears.

  • The Glow: By increasing blood flow, your skin will have an immediate, healthy oxygenated glow.

  • Soreness: If you hold a lot of tension (looking at you, teeth grinders), your jaw muscles might feel slightly “worked out” or tender the next day, just like your legs after a run.

  • Drink Water: We just moved a lot of stagnant lymph fluid into your system. You need to drink water to flush it out of your body.

  • Avoid Alcohol: Alcohol causes puffiness and dehydration, which undoes the work we just did. Skip the wine tonight.

  • Keep it Clean: Your skin has huge circulation right now; try to avoid heavy makeup for the rest of the day to let it breathe.

  • Maintenance: For long-term lifting results, we recommend this treatment monthly or before big events.

FAQ

If you have active, inflamed acne (cysts or open pustules), we should avoid deep massage as it can spread bacteria and irritate the skin. We recommend booking our Acne Treatment instead to clear the skin first.

Not if you wait the required 2 weeks. Once your injectables have settled, massage is actually beneficial for keeping the muscle tissue healthy. However, we cannot perform this treatment if you had Botox yesterday.

The “de-puffed” glow is immediate and typically lasts 48–72 hours, making it perfect for events. Long-term muscle lifting and tension relief is cumulative and improves with regular monthly sessions.

While we work deeply on the muscle, we are trained to stay within the “good hurt” zone, not the injury zone. You might feel tender, but you shouldn’t leave looking like you were in a boxing match. However, if you tend to bruise like a peach, let us know beforehand so we can adjust the pressure.

You absolutely should be doing that for maintenance! But a professional treatment in Seattle is different. We understand facial anatomy, muscle attachment points, and lymphatic pathways on a clinical level. Think of your home routine as brushing your teeth, and this facial as the deep cleaning at the dentist.
