Deka Duo + rf Microneedling
This is the “nuclear option” for skin transformation. If you are looking for a total reset on texture, scars, and laxity, the Lifted Veil combines the two most powerful modalities in aesthetics into one session. We start with RF Microneedling to mechanically break down deep scar tissue and tighten the skin’s foundation with heat. We then immediately follow with the Deka Duo CO2 to resurface the top layer, erasing pores and polishing the texture. One builds the house; the other paints the roof. This is the gold standard for acne scarring and deep wrinkles.

Numbing is Critical: This is an intense treatment. Please arrive 60 minutes early so our prescription numbing cream has time to fully desensitize the skin.
Stop Actives: Discontinue Retin-A, Tretinoin, and exfoliating acids 7 days prior. Your skin barrier needs to be strong before we treat it.
Cold Sores: The heat and mechanical trauma can trigger outbreaks. If you have a history of cold sores, you must start antiviral medication 24 hours prior.
No Sun: We cannot treat tanned skin. Please avoid direct sun exposure for 4 weeks prior.
Step 1: Deep Remodeling (RF Microneedling): We start with the needles. We stamp the skin at varying depths, delivering radiofrequency heat directly into the dermis to tighten tissue and break up scars.
Step 2: Surface Polishing (Deka Duo): We switch to the CO2 laser. This treats the surface layer (epidermis), vaporizing damaged cells and tightening pores.
The Sensation: It is spicy. The RF feels like a deep pressure/heat, and the CO2 feels like prickly static. We use a high-powered cooling system (Zimmer) to keep you comfortable.
Day 1 (The Swell): You will be red and swollen, similar to a severe sunburn. Your skin will feel hot for several hours.
Day 2–3 (The Grid): You may see a tiny grid pattern on your skin (from the RF) and start to turn bronze/brown (from the CO2).
Day 4–7 (The Flake): The bronze skin will feel like sandpaper and begin to flake or peel off. Do not pick it.
The Result: Once the peeling finishes, you will see fresh, pink, “baby” skin that is significantly smoother.
Occlude: For the first 24–48 hours, keep your skin covered in the post-procedure balm or Aquaphor we provide. Do not let it dry out.
Vinegar Soaks: To manage the heat and keep the skin clean, we may recommend soaking gauze in a vinegar/water solution and applying it to the face.
Sleep Elevated: Sleep with an extra pillow for the first 2 nights to help reduce swelling.
Sun Ban: You have essentially removed your outer protective layer. Strict sun avoidance and SPF 50+ are mandatory for at least 4 weeks.

This is for the client who wants maximum results and is willing to accept some social downtime. It is the ultimate treatment for Acne Scars, Deep Wrinkles, Large Pores, and Skin Laxity.
RF Microneedling works deep (up to 3.5mm) to tighten structures. CO2 works superficially to polish the surface. By doing them together, we treat 100% of the skin’s depth in a single pass. It’s significantly more effective than doing them separately.
We won’t sugarcoat it—this is an aggressive treatment. However, we use a very strong prescription numbing cream and chilled air (Zimmer) to make it manageable. Most clients find the results well worth the momentary discomfort.
Yes, this is excellent for “Tech Neck” lines and loose skin. However, the neck heals slower than the face, so expect the redness/bronzing to last a few days longer.
For general anti-aging, 1–2 sessions a year is great. For deep acne scarring correction, we typically recommend a series of 3 spaced 6 weeks apart.
We recommend waiting 48–72 hours until the skin has formed a protective barrier and the initial swelling has subsided. Mineral makeup is best.
