Coolpeel + Microneedling
If your main concerns are texture, large pores, and dullness, this is your treatment. “Deep Space” targets the skin on two distinct physical levels. First, we use medical-grade Microneedling to mechanically break up scar tissue and create thousands of micro-channels for deep stimulation. Then, we immediately layer a CoolPeel CO2 laser on top to vaporize the surface layer, tightening the pores and polishing the roughness. It’s a physical reset button that forces your skin to grow back smoother, tighter, and brighter.

105 Minutes

series of 3

every 4-6 weeks

5–7 days
Numbing: This is a dual-modality treatment. Please arrive 45–60 minutes early so our numbing cream has time to make the needling and laser comfortable.
Stop Actives: Pause Retin-A, Retinol, and exfoliating acids (glycolic/salicylic) 5 days prior. We are about to exfoliate you significantly; we need your barrier intact to start.
No Sun: We cannot treat tanned skin with the CoolPeel laser. Please avoid direct sun/tanning for 4 weeks prior.
Cold Sores: The mechanical trauma can trigger a flare-up. If prone to them, start antivirals 24 hours before.

Step 1: The Mechanical (Microneedling): We start by gliding the microneedling pen over the skin. This creates deep vertical channels that break up old collagen and stimulate new growth. You will feel a vibration and scratchy sensation.
Step 2: The Thermal (CoolPeel): We immediately follow with the CO2 laser. This delivers short pulses of energy to the surface. It feels like a “prickly heat” or warm static.
The Cooling: We use a specialized localized air cooler (Zimmer) to blow freezing air on your skin throughout the laser portion, making it very tolerable.

Day 1 (The Heat): You will look like you have a strong sunburn and feel heat radiating from the skin for 12–24 hours.
Day 2–3 (The Sandpaper): As the redness fades, your skin will turn a bronzed color and feel rough/dry like sandpaper. This is the old tissue preparing to slough off.
Day 4–5 (The Reveal): The roughness will flake away (micro-peeling) to reveal brand new, baby-soft skin underneath.

No Sweat: Avoid the gym, saunas, and hot showers for 48 hours. Your pores are wide open, and sweat allows bacteria to enter.
Hydrate: Your skin will be thirsty. Apply the recommended post-procedure balm or Aquaphor liberally to keep the “sandpaper” skin flexible.
Do Not Pick: It is satisfying, but do not pick or scrub the flaking skin. Let it fall off naturally to avoid scarring.
Sun Protection: Your fresh skin has no defense. You must wear a hat or SPF 50+ immediately.

Lifted Veil: Uses RF (Radiofrequency) Microneedling + CO2. The RF adds massive heat for tightening and deep lifting.
Deep Space: Uses Standard Microneedling + CO2. It focuses strictly on texture (scars, pores, surface smoothness) without the extra heat of RF. It has slightly less downtime and is better for pure resurfacing.
We use a strong prescription numbing cream. You will feel the vibration of the needles and the heat of the laser, but it is generally very manageable. Most clients rate it a 4/10.
Yes. This is one of our best treatments for superficial to medium-depth acne scars (“boxcar” or “rolling” scars) because the microneedling breaks up the scar tissue while the CoolPeel smooths the edges.
We recommend waiting 24–48 hours until the heat has dissipated and the micro-channels have closed. Mineral makeup is best to cover the “bronzed” look.
Physically, yes. Visually, you will be red/pink and your skin will look dry. If you don’t mind looking like you spent a day at the beach, you are fine to work.
