If standard microneedling is the workout, this is the workout plus a protein shake and a personal trainer. In our Seattle studio, we take our advanced collagen induction therapy and swap out the standard glide serum for a Medical-Grade Growth Factor Solution (often referred to as “liquid gold”). Because microneedling creates thousands of tiny channels in the skin, this potent serum doesn’t just sit on top—it travels deep into the dermis where it signals your cells to repair, lift, and tighten. We finish the session with LED Light Therapy to reduce redness immediately. The result? Better collagen production and significantly faster healing time.

The Healing Process

Post Treatment

  • Numbing: We use a prescription-strength topical numbing cream. Please arrive 45–60 minutes early to let it take full effect.

  • Pause Actives: Stop using Retin-A, Retinol, and strong acids (glycolic/salicylic) 3–5 days before your appointment.

  • Cold Sores: If you have a history of cold sores, the needle trauma can trigger a flare-up. Please start an antiviral medication 24 hours prior.

  • Sun Exposure: We cannot treat sunburned skin. Avoid heavy UV exposure for 2 weeks prior.

 

  • Step 1: Numb & Prep: After you are thoroughly numbed, we cleanse and sterilize the skin.

  • Step 2: The Infusion: Instead of plain Hyaluronic Acid, we apply a concentrated Growth Factor & Cytokine serum to the skin.

  • Step 3: The Needling: We use a medical-grade pen to stamp the skin, driving the growth factors deep into the tissue while stimulating your natural collagen response.

  • Step 4: The Calm: We finish with a cooling mask and a session of Red LED Light Therapy to immediately bring down inflammation and jumpstart the healing process.

  • Faster Recovery: Thanks to the Growth Factors and LED, the “sunburn” feeling usually subsides much faster (often within 12–24 hours) compared to standard microneedling.

  • Redness: You will look pink to red immediately after, similar to a moderate sunburn.

  • Texture: Your skin may feel tight and dry, like sandpaper, on days 3–5. This is the dead skin sloughing off to reveal the new tissue.

  • Don’t Wash: Leave the Growth Factors on your skin for at least 4 hours (or overnight if possible) to get the full benefit.

  • No Sweat: Avoid the gym, saunas, and hot showers for 48–72 hours. Sweat contains bacteria that can irritate the open channels.

  • Makeup: Wait 24–48 hours before applying makeup.

  • Sun Protection: Your skin is brand new. SPF 50+ is non-negotiable for the next 4 weeks.

For rejuvention: 4-6 treatments, 4 weeks apart

For optimal results, a period of effective active treatment products, such as Vitamin A, C or Resveratrol is recommended to allow the skin’s strength to build up.

For minimum needed depths, microneedling treatments are painless. Treatments over 0.25mm deep, may require a topical anesthetic to be applied 15-40 minutes before the procedure. This will ensure a virtually pain free treatment.

Generally no, but you may experience facial redness for 12-72 hours after the treatment. Most people are able to return to normal daily activities immediately after the treatment. Application of a breathable camouflage will seal the skin and cover any redness for an immediate return to work.

It is recommended to wait at least 7 days after filler injections, so that any post treatment bruising from the fillers can settle. It is also possible to have microneedling done several days before having fillers injected. Ask your provider- we cannot dispense medical advice.
