  • Come Clean: Please arrive with no eye makeup (mascara, eyeliner, or brow gel). Scrubbing it off right before the appointment can irritate the skin and affect how the dye takes.

  • Remove Contacts: If you wear contact lenses, bring a case and solution or wear glasses. We prefer you take them out during the treatment to avoid staining or irritation.

  • No Self-Tanner: Avoid applying self-tanner to the face for 24 hours prior, as the dye can react with the tanner and turn your brows a funny color (usually green/orange).

  • The Process: You’ll lie back with your eyes closed. We apply a protective barrier cream around the eyes/brows, then apply the tint.

  • The Sensation: You might feel a slight tingle, but it should not burn. If it stings, tell us immediately.

  • Duration: It’s super fast. Brows take about 5–10 minutes; Lashes take about 10–15 minutes.

  • The Reveal: We wipe away the dye, and you instantly have dark, defined features.

  • Immediate Look: Your brows might look slightly darker/bolder than expected on Day 1. This is normal! The dye on the skin will wash off, leaving just the hair tinted.

  • Downtime: Zero. You can go straight back to work or out to lunch.

  • Fading: The color will be vibrant for the first 2 weeks and then gradually fade over weeks 3 and 4.

  • Keep it Dry: Try to keep your brows/lashes dry for 24 hours to let the dye fully set.

  • Avoid Oils: Oil-based cleansers and makeup removers will strip the tint faster. Stick to gel cleansers or micellar water for the longest-lasting results.

  • Sunscreen: Sunlight bleaches hair (and tint). If you’re in the sun a lot, wear a hat to make your tint last longer.

  • Don’t Scrub: Be gentle when washing your face. Aggressive scrubbing will fade your results faster.

FAQ

Approximately 2 to 4 weeks. Chlorine and daily use of/and removal of waterproof mascara can shorten the life of the color.

PLEASE ARRIVE COMPLETELY FREE OF MASCARA.

It’s possible to feel some discomfort when Eyebrow and Eyelash Tint services perform if your eyes water. But usually, it’s a very quick and comfortable service.

Absolutely! As long as you have completed all of your microblading appointments (the initial appointment and the touch up appointment), and are completely past your few weeks of healing, it’s totally fine. I have clients who still tint even though they have permanent make up. Sometimes, if you have really blonde or grey hairs, it can start to look a bit strange with the microblading or permanent make up. So I will usually try to match up the color of your dye to the color used for your microblading.

You will need to remove your contacts prior to your service.

You will want to go easy with your eyebrows when cleansing to extend the life of the dye. Obviously, if you scrub, peel, etc. that area, the color is going to disappear much faster. Also exercise caution when applying any type of skin care products containing exfoliators (topical acne medications, retinol, lightening products, alpha hydroxy acids, etc.), Keep all of these away from the brows as they could affect their color retention.
